Nice hotel, good service and very good value for money

Very pleasant experience overall! The room was just the necessary for a nice stay. Swimming pool was very nice and refreshing for the summer heat. The restaurant was amazing, the menu gourmandin was a great experience and well priced. Only downside was the breakfast, we arrived 1hour before closing and the was almost nothing left, which is not acceptable. Hence, the 4/5 star rating. If we arrived earlier, I’m sure it would have been much better. Other than that, fantastic stay for one night.

A very nice hotel, with pleasant and attentive staff. It's a shame the air conditioning is so noisy; given the heat, it's impossible to sleep without it. A small addition would be to have refrigerators in the rooms.

The welcome was very pleasant, the bed comfortable, and the room lovely. As for the restaurant, the service and the food were delicious, although there was a lack of vegetables in the dishes.

First two-day New Year's stay at this hotel. We were relatively satisfied with the services, though there were a few minor issues. We couldn't connect to the ETIK program when we paid for our stay. The Wi-Fi was unavailable during our stay; a gesture of goodwill was warranted. Suggestion: An aperitif or a glass of sparkling wine at the end of the meal could have been offered in the otherwise very good New Year's Eve menu. Rooms: 2/5 | Service: 4/5 | Location: 5/5 The room was nice and comfortable, but it didn't match the reserved category; it was a triple room instead of a double. The view was magnificent, overlooking the restaurant's ventilation ducts, complete with noise. The wall lights were poorly attached, and a bottle of water would have been appreciated. There was no Wi-Fi in the room during our stay, which we reported on the first day. The complimentary tray was replenished sporadically. The shower drain was almost clogged; it hadn't been cleaned during housekeeping, with traces of the previous day around the drain. Inconsistent water pressure in the shower and sink. Fix these little details and the rooms will earn two more stars. Nearby activities: Saint-Dié-des-Vosges, on January 1st, a ghost town. Security: No issues. Pedestrian access: A very steep staircase to reach the room. Food and drinks: The food is excellent. The New Year's Eve menu was superb. Interesting details: Tea and/or coffee in the relaxation area would be a plus. Special attention should be paid to the excellent service in the dining room. The relaxation area is too small for the number of guests this hotel can accommodate. Hotel strengths: Quiet

We spent two nights there and everything was excellent. Easy access to the hotel, quiet room, very pleasant spa area, very good breakfast, attentive staff. Special mention goes to the restaurant, whose quality exceeded our expectations.

We spent a weekend at Le Régal to enjoy the pool, the restaurant, and the surrounding forests. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. The rooms were nice (it was too cold to use the balcony) and the pool was fantastic. As an added bonus, there's a lovely park (with a children's playground) and wallabies. I highly recommend Le Régal!

I've been on several business trips, and all of them went perfectly! The restaurant is of very good quality, as is the hotel and the services associated with the wellness area. I recommend it!

Everything was perfect regarding the welcome, the room, the relaxation area and the restaurant. The only really small downside was the lack of access for pets. They are confined in the rooms. Too bad.

Excellent arrangements and recommendations when booking our room. Our arrival was very well prepared. A very beautiful and spacious room with a magnificent view of the pond and the Vosges Mountains. Breakfast and dinner were delicious; we really appreciated that they used many local products. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

We requested a balcony for €10/day, and got a ground floor terrace overlooking the parking lot and the cleam. We received no information on meal times upon arrival. The restaurant meal wasn't great for the price of the evening menu. We were woken up every night by noise from the hallway. Positive: the pool and garden.

We know this place. Peaceful, with a swimming pool, a park with animals, and safe children's playground. Outside the city, it has easy access to major roads. The staff is stable. Bravo and thank you to the management and the entire team. We will be happy to come back.

The wardrobe wasn't comfortable; it lacked hangers and more storage space. There was also a lack of adequate storage space for my suitcase. When I'm 75, I don't want to be taking my clothes out of an open suitcase lying on the floor. The mattress was quite hard for my wife. The vegetarian options could be more extensive.

My stay was very pleasant. The establishment was clean and tidy. The staff was very friendly. I have nothing to complain about.

I had booked and pre-arranged charging for my EV. On arrival was informed that chargers were broken and I was offered a socket in an outside wall. I had to drive into nearby town and sit while car charged using DC.
Dogs were welcome but not in the grounds, where a non-native species was kept. I had to drive over a kilometer where I found a forest track
The 'duck pond' was in desperate need of environmental management and had no vegetation to take up and manage the excessive nutrients entering from the fowl - this was cruelty to ducks!

The restaurant offered two (three if one removed 'jambon' from the tomato dish) vegetarian entrees but no main course dishes. the staff simply suggested we had two entrees.

Excellent food with a spacious and comfortable room. Suggestion: It would be a good idea to issue a note to guests staying on a stopover basis, reminding them, as a matter of civility, to limit the use of their phones during the meal. During my visit, a man was in conversation throughout dinner, which somewhat disrupted the atmosphere. Another person also received a call but was able to discreetly step away so as not to disturb the other guests. I would like to thank her for this respectful attitude.

The entire staff was very nice. Beautiful setting. Happiness and fulfillment!

It was on the advice of a friend that I chose this hotel, excellent value for money, green setting, neat decor and very pleasant staff.

Regarding the hotel, the room was very comfortable with impeccable bedding, cleanliness, impeccable. Regarding the food, it was the best, with very refined cuisine using very fresh products. I also recommend taking a swimsuit because regarding the spa pool and hammam, it was the best. My second stay at this hotel. I'll be back as soon as I'm passing through. Keep it up.

Always a pleasure to come to this hotel for a weekend! The welcome and service are excellent, the spa is great and very clean. The restaurant is very beautiful, I say the decoration and especially the chairs! As for the table and the plates, from the appetizer to the dessert: a pure moment of happiness! The team of young waiters: smile, discretion and attention. Everything is perfect!

We had a very pleasant stay with our dog, who was allowed in the establishment. The hotel offers multiple quality services. My stay ended with a massage, which was sublime! (score 25/20)

Good stay, shame about the access to the pool from outside if you take a room without a balcony and it was not specified that slippers were provided for the pool. Access to breakfast is complicated when there are a lot of people. Price and quality are good for the meal and breakfast. Too bad about the outside access for walking animals, directly on the road. Parking not big enough.

4th stay at the Régal hotel, still as good 👍 Spacious, renovated room, very comfortable mattress! Nice and clean spa and swimming pool. The restaurant is excellent. The breakfast is plentiful, with local products. The hostess, the waiters are friendly and helpful 👍 Don't hesitate to come and discover the hotel.

Arrogance, Discrimination and Blatant Dishonesty My experience at this hotel was deeply disappointing on every level. When I tried to book a table in the restaurant, the person at the reception made it clear that there were no more places available. However, a few minutes later, my wife called to check their honesty and, to her surprise, she was given a table for 9pm. This attitude is not only discriminatory, but also dishonest and unworthy of an establishment that claims to welcome customers with respect. When I passed by the restaurant at the indicated time, I also noticed that it was half empty, which only made this scandalous experience worse. To make matters worse, the hygiene conditions are deplorable: toilets with traces of urine, visibly uncleaned, show a total disregard for the most basic hygiene standards. I strongly advise against this hotel. If you are looking for honesty, respect or quality service, move on. Is this in line with your expectations? Very nice place, the rooms are magnificent with balcony and view of the pond and the swans, the catering is excellent and of good quality, the perfect breakfast. Lots of parking spaces, everything is perfect I recommend.
