A beautiful place! The new owners are lovely and attentive. We had a wonderful stay.
The hotel's location is very pleasant, right on the riverbank. Beautiful old building. Very warm welcome.
Unfortunately, we only stayed one night at the wonderfully idyllic mill hotel, which was a shame because the hotel itself was incredibly relaxing and the surrounding area has so much to offer. On our road trip, we only had time for Lascaux 4 and the stalactite cave just a stone's throw from the village. The hotel is picturesquely situated in a small valley right by the river, where the mill wheel still turns. The rooms are small but clean, and perfectly adequate for us. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was excellent, especially the trout tartare! Breakfast was classic, with fresh baguettes, delicious jams, some fresh sausage, and eggs that probably came straight from the neighboring farm. As a bonus, there's a friendly hotel dog and a cat that even let us pet it once. We would love to come back and thank the team for their hospitality!
Beautiful setting and comfortable rooms although parking a little difficult.
Perfect location for our stay in the Dordogne. Delightful Hotel with a working water wheel in a spectacular setting. Breakfast available by the river. Air conditioned room during our visit in a heatwave was very appreciated. Restaurant was excellent. This is a family run Hotel run by by a young couple who are helpful and an added bonus one of them speaks perfect English.
Highly recommend and will return.
Be careful not to offer it as a gift, because you pay at the time of booking, and they make the people to whom it was given pay the bill again.
A very warm welcome! Magnificent location, the little stream is a real welcome in this intense heat!
A very pretty, idyllic place; don't hesitate to book a room. The food is very good. I recommend going there.
A beautiful spot by the water. Warm welcome. A house you'll want to return to.

We found spiders and cobwebs in several places in the room, and the two bedside tables hadn't been dusted. The lamp next to one of the two bedside tables, in addition to being very old, had exposed wires near the light switch. There were drainage problems in the bathroom: when using the sink, water would back up from the tub (resulting in hygiene issues), while the tub drain was very slow and would fill up as soon as the shower head was turned on. Finally, on our way back to the hotel after dining out, we were caught in a downpour and, unable to find a parking space in the hotel parking lot, had to walk about 300 meters in the dark, under water, to get back from the nearest public parking lot. This was because there was only a gravel road (not pedestrianized), and the presence of a stairway from the street to the hotel (which, however, was unlit) was not disclosed to us upon our arrival, nor when we contacted the hotel by phone, since this happened after 10 pm and therefore there was no staff at the hotel.
