The welcome was good, with smiling and attentive staff. The room was adequate and functional (except for the room facing the road without double glazing). However, we chose this hotel for its restaurant. We were EXTREMELY disappointed, and that's an understatement. Nothing matched the enticing photos on the website. The food was of very poor quality. The appetizers were ones we would have preferred not to have: lukewarm and uninteresting melon soup, supermarket-style tabbouleh, stale shrimp, translucent and frozen radishes, and dried-out snails that had been cooked and recooked. Finally, our foie gras arrived, warm and runny, with tasteless onion compote. All these dishes, which arrived unsolicited, could have been well received if the food had been good. One wonders if what wasn't eaten is served to the next guests. Only the main course was acceptable, but it was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LIKE GOURMET. Has there been a change of chef? We don't understand.

Traditional hotel in an old building, rooms a little outdated, but with all the desired amenities, at the restaurant, I particularly recommend the ravioli with ceps and truffles, a real treat!

What a lovely surprise! A wonderful stopover! A village hotel with a beautiful terrace. A generous menu full of surprises, superb servers who clearly enjoy working there, and a chef attentive to his guests' well-being. We'll definitely be back next summer.

The owner and chef, Mr. Da Fonseca, is an excellent cook. He'll tell you about his life, his grandmother, his suppliers... He's also a "tourist guide" who will point out the best places to see. He also handles the reception and service. This inn deserves to be better known and is well worth a visit.

It was a lovely trip as I had stayed here as a child in 1973 and my great grandparents also stayed here for 10 days in 1938 when their car broke down

The decor was completely outdated and the meal was a bit disappointing compared to what I expected from a distinguished table.

Very warm welcome, quiet and pleasant place, I highly recommend you dine at the restaurant, it's delicious and the quality is there, home cooking by a very good chef!

A great evening at the Hotel de la Poste. The perfect room, the delicious restaurant, the lovely, attentive and generous owners. Everything was perfect, a big thank you

Located in a quiet village in a stunning mountainous landscape. Very pleasant hotel with characterful rooms. Some of the decor in the hotel may appear a little 'past' but we found the place charming, spotlessly clean and with today's expected amenities. Our room on the 2nd floor was a little awkward to climb to, but we had no large luggage and the access was reflected in the [lower] price. The room itself was pleasant, with efficient heating, and I liked the walk-in shower room. I would stay there again. The restaurant, dining room and breakfast room were very appealing, and the food excellent, with the chef showcasing his regional native roots, in the menu and amuse-bouche.

Hotel, very old, carpet in the rooms really not clean, exterior tarpaulins completely torn. In short, hotel to be redone urgently. On the other hand, staff, especially a young man, very friendly.
