Very convenient hotel located just steps from the historic center, spacious room and bathroom which could use a refresh (a project seems to be underway), varied and very good breakfast, lovely decor

Avoid this place in summer. Most rooms face the street, and without air conditioning, you have to choose: either leave the windows open and endure the incessant noise of cars and trucks until 3 a.m., or close them and turn the room into a veritable tin can, where the heat makes sleep virtually impossible. A tiny table fan spins endlessly around the room, as if to remind you that you are indeed sleeping in a tin can… albeit one equipped with a fan. Upon check-out, the receptionist explains that you should have booked a "Premium" room for added comfort. In other words, if you don't want to pay more, you have to accept a room overlooking an extremely noisy street. Yet, it seems to me that a hotel room is primarily intended to allow guests to rest: peace and quiet, security, and sleeping conditions should be basic requirements, not "Premium" options. I find it hard to understand where this establishment gets such high ratings. In summary, if your goal in booking a hotel is simply to be able to sleep, it's best to avoid this one, especially in summer.

Flies in the room. Apricot pits on the patio table… Dirty breakfast dishes. Undercooked croissants. No choice at breakfast, despite what the website suggests.

I booked a room online for two nights for a total of €198. I cancelled two breakfasts and tickets for a tour. Up to that point, everything was fine. In the end, I paid €200.20. I think they put us in a more expensive room without telling us.

The room was far too noisy (street noise + loud conversations from the cleaning staff in the hallway).

Lovely stay, very friendly staff. Fantastic location, within easy walking distance of a beautiful quaint centre which is buzzing with a wonderful French cuisine and life, would highly recommend. The only slight drawback was the unusual heatwave so the room was quite warm. But the fan and window made it comfortable to rest. I would definitely return to this hotel if returning to the area.

My sister-in-law and I were very warmly welcomed. They even carried our suitcases and showed us to our room, something you rarely see in hotels anymore! The room was like a small, very comfortable apartment with a terrace. Dinner and breakfast were perfect. The only slight drawback was the television, which was very difficult to hear due to the echo! We were so tired that we fell asleep immediately.

Excellent service, functional and very clean room. Good starting point to explore the city.

The hotel is nice, but without air conditioning at the moment it's a bit tough! Luckily, the reception staff kindly offered me a room in the shade in the evening!

I had a very bad experience at the beginning of my vacation. I am a disabled person (PMR) and I chose a specific room, which I paid extra for. The electric ramp to access the elevator didn't work; I had to climb four steps. Furthermore, the bathroom wasn't up to standard; the tiles were very slippery when wet, etc. The next morning, I had to go back down the stairs. Please explain to me how a person alone in a wheelchair manages in this situation. I would appreciate it if you could provide a solution; it would be very helpful, and I would like a response to my experience. Mrs. Esnault

The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the center, with parking available. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was varied, and dinner was perfect. The only downside was the soundproofing of the room.

Hotel located on a noisy street

À l arrivée pas de place sur le parking,la voiture a donc passé la nuit dans ma rue. Nous avions réservé 1 Studio, lorsque nous sommes arrivé dans le studio il faisait froid pas de chauffage ni dans la pièce principale ni dans la salle de bain. Le jeune homme a l accueil très sympathique nous a donc proposé une chambre mais pour le coup pas de micro onde et un frigo bar peu adapté à ce que nous souhaitions stocker. Bref on a rien dit il faisait moins froid mais toujours radiateurs froids, la nuit de bruits d eau dans les radiateurs nous ont réveillé plusieurs fois, radiateurs toujours froid. Bref quand a la salle de bain franchement très moyen, un rideau de douche dans une baignoire qui colle au corps et avec des taches de moisi, température de l eau impossible à régler, tantôt chaud tantôt froid. Par contre lit hyper confortable donc entre le confort du lit et la gentillesse du jeune homme à l accueil pour notre arrivée… ça passe mais franchement pour le même prix on est mieux dans un kyriad ou un Ibis on est pas dans du confort de 2026 pour un hôtel

A good quality hotel relatively close to the center of Le Puy. The spacious room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The staff is pleasant and competent. One small drawback: Canal+ was not available as it had been previously.

The room is very decent but overlooks a very noisy road (2 one-way streets), window doubled by a pane of glass for noise, lack of external shutters and air conditioning... In summary, during a heatwave, the room is very, very hot! Advice: ask for another exposure during hot weather! Bathroom equipment could be improved. Very good bedding.

Very helpful staff. Very good breakfast and satisfying dinner menu. We were there in a heat wave so the elevator, the bedroom fan and the little fridge helped. AC would have made it perfect. Our car stayed in the private parking and we could walk to most of the sites of le Puy en Velay.

Positive points: - Pleasant welcome - Well-located hotel allowing you to leave your car in the parking lot and go for a stroll in the city center - Spacious room with a minimum of equipment Negative points: - Room not air-conditioned - impossible to sleep with the window open because of the noise of motorcycles and cars - Poorly soundproofed hotel - noisy, the room doors slam with a lot of noise, especially annoying when guests return late at night. The toilet flushes are also very noisy

During checkout time the reception was unattendant, I had to wait a while to check out.

Arrived as a couple with our Border Collie. We were very well received and quickly advised on parking and the room. Our dog was also welcome. Very nice, simple, clean and comfortable room.

We rented an apartment for 5 people at 300 euros a night without air conditioning. The receptionist told us to open the windows. A horrible noise from outside. A very bad night. Breakfast was extra and we took 3 main course and dessert options. They didn't even want to give us the menus, which we charged à la carte. Really not commercial!!

I stay at this property every time I visit Le Puy. The apartments are excellent and spacious.

I had requested a quiet room on a lower floor in advance, and that's what they booked. THANK YOU VERY MUCH! I enjoyed the breakfast buffet; the staff were super friendly.

The meal wasn't great at all despite the very pleasant service. The main course was really overcooked and the dessert left something to be desired. The room: good except for a bathtub-shower without the possibility of having a shower mat. Also, it was impossible to hang the shower head! Fortunately, the staff members are extremely pleasant, kind and helpful. The parking: parking: a real disaster. It would be absolutely necessary to have someone to help customers park properly.

I did not wish to stay in the hotel after seeing the room. The hotel refused to refund the room (even a small part), nor the tourist tax even though I did not stay.

Very pleasant staff

A very pleasant hotel perfectly located for access to the important (in my opinion) points of interest in Le Puy en Velay. Our stay was made even better by the professional and friendly staff encountered at all times. All enquiries were handled quickly and effectively with a smile. The breakfast buffet was excellent and our evening dining experience was memorable.

However, avoid coming with a Logis Hôtel gift card because the staff does not know how to validate it and the owner of the hotel does not hesitate to question your honesty: it is very unpleasant. ..

Reception, catering, location, nothing to say, it's very correct and the staff is helpful. I unfortunately found that my bed was infested with bedbugs. I hesitated to accept the offer of the receptionist on duty to be relocated to another room. In the end, no bedbugs in the other room and the infected room was blocked the next day, I hope the hotel will call in a specialized company!

Very good bedding

We stayed in a large apartment with a very large bedroom with a large double bed, a kitchen, dining room and living room. Two other rooms were available. The accommodation was very clean, the hotel staff friendly. The hotel is located next door, we were able to have breakfast there.

Ideal location for visiting Le Puy. Very good reception from the staff on arrival. Lots of slamming of doors from 6:30 in the morning. Not enough staff in the morning, the person took care of departures and serving breakfasts because the coffee machine was out of order

Staff were very good and very helpful. The room was clean and large. A kettle was provided but there was no socket/outlet to plug the kettle into. Indeed there was a real lack of sockets in the room. I had to plug out the tv to use the kettle and I had to put the kettle on the ground to plug it in. In addition the hotel has no air conditioning and on an extremely hot and humid night such as last night this made sleeping almost impossible. So the hotel seems to be run very well, staff and cleaning are excellent but it just needs to be updated in terms of facilities. Sockets installed or even just extension cables provided. During winter or spring or late autumn the hotel is probably very good for sleeping but on a hot night in summer it is not unfortunately. But again I stress, the staff and cleanliness are excellent. It’s almost a five star hotel let down by two problems in my view. Also I would like to point out that the Wi-Fi seemed to have been switched off at night. The outside sign was switched off and the Wi-Fi disappeared at the same time. So there was no Wi-Fi during the night at all.
